It was suppose to be a one horse affair with Lankan Rupee dominating betting on Race 2 the Mitsubishi Electric Schillaci Stakes at Caulfield.
Cashed stepping out onto the track as rank outsider and given no chance in the race nearly provided RBR and connections with their biggest win to date.
Cashed (from Lil Cashy) ridden by Dwayne Dunn settled early in the race at the rear, at the 300m mark the 4yr old was given the green light by Dunn and commenced a near memorable run to the finish line, Cashed 2nd running a final 200 in 11.65, Alpha Miss (winner) 11.79 and Lankan Rupee 3rd 12.18.
