Cool Maverick first up after a nice spell and a short stint in Alice claims a 1 length victory in race 6 at Balaklava today. Ridden by stable apprentice Dylan Caboche the 7 yr old gelding ridden just behind the leaders for most of the race, pulled out at the 400 and run on for a comfortable win.
