TULLYS take the GOLD to the bank

It was a sweet way to start the weekend when TULLYS GOLD won at the 2020 Gawler Cup on Friday afternoon.

The lightly raced 4yo has put together a nice little wrap sheet in just 5 starts and won by an ever lengthening 4.2 lengths after being pressured for the lead. The son of Oamaru Force is yet to finish out of 1st or 2nd positions in his 5 starts and looks to have an opportunity to improve on that record in the Spring / Summer.

TULLYS GOLD races in the colours of his purchasers Vision Park Stud and the Powell family ( as seen below ). The horse is raced by the family and many close friends.

TULLYS GOLD was a $42,000 purchase at the Adelaide Magic Millions in 2018.

The geldings mother CADGEE GOLD was a winner of 6 races including into the middle distances whilst his father OAMARU FORCE was a sprinter winner at ‘The Shorts’ at Grp level and twice at Listed level. With his good balance and economical stride it will be interesting to see how far this fella gets.
