The 2018 UBET Festival of Racing has produced South Australia’s best carnival for decades and Ryan Balfour runners Balf’s Choice and Kirona have drawn well to take home a win in Saturdays $250,000 Group 3 Robert & Fay Gerrard R A Lee Stakes.
The two horses produced 10 wins amongst them last preparation and stamped themselves as horses with big futures ahead of them.
Balfs Choice is racing 3rd up in the prep and has won 5 from 12 at the mile including last seasons Listed Balaklava and Seymour Cups.
Kirona will carry just the 53kgs in the race and has drawn nicely in barrier 4.
